They arrived as part of an extraordinary pilgrimage that united 12 parishes from Long Island. Excited and prayerful, the young adults relished learning about Mother Cabrini. But rather than have us tell you about their experience here, this month we invite you to hear what our pilgrims had to say, themselves!

The busload of pilgrims pulled up right on time, having had the miracle of no traffic on the Long Island Expressway. It was a good start to a great day. The group attended Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, toured the museum, venerated the first class relics of over 25 saints, visited the gift shop, and had lunch on site.

The trip was organized by Ed Bochynski of The Parish Family of Cure of Ars. Mr. Bochynski had gone on pilgrimage in Europe last year, and was eager to introduce others to the impact a pilgrimage can have on one’s faith. St. Frances Cabrini Shrine did not disappoint. Mr. Bochynski’s summary: the Shrine “is a hidden gem in New York City.”
