On Corpus Christi the Shrine opened its newest exhibit, “Mother Cabrini and the Eucharist,” an exploration of the saint’s relationship to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

Mother Cabrini is primarily known as a woman of action. She established schools, hospitals and orphanages in more than 40 locations across three continents. Yet her energy was fueled by constant prayer, frequent communion and long hours of Adoration.

“Mother Cabrini and the Eucharist” takes us inside the heart of the woman who became the patron saint of immigrants. It gives us a glimpse of the depth of her devotion to — and dependency upon — Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Inspiring and touching, “Mother Cabrini and the Eucharist” explores the saint’s thoughts, writing, and experiences.

The exhibit is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and until 7:00pm on Tuesdays. All material is presented in both Spanish and English.
