Multi-instrumentalist and woodwinds specialist Gottfried Stöger presents a program of music for various woodwind instruments and piano. Joined by the internationally acclaimed pianist Jai Jeffryes, the duo will start with Paul Hindemith’s Sonata for Flute and Piano. The Clarinet Sonata N. 2 by Johannes Brahms will follow, and “Altima: Three Sketches” for alto saxophone and piano by Eugene McBride will conclude the program. Composer McBride had dedicated this work to saxophonist Gottfried Stöger.
