The new movie CABRINI, distributed by Angel Studios, opens Friday, March 8 at over 3,000 theaters nationwide. You can find out where it is showing at Angel.com.
Our opinion? The biopic is very, very good. Starring Cristiana Dell’Anna (pictured above, on a visit to the Shrine in February), it is neither a prototypical religious film nor a documentary. It’s a stunningly gorgeous movie that depicts Mother Cabrini’s compassion, resilience, and resourcefulness with great beauty and energy.
We encourage you to see the movie… and then, inspired by her character, to dive deep into finding out what it was that made Mother Cabrini so strong.
The best way, of course, is to visit the Shrine. But if that’s not possible, each month we post a Mother Cabrini story here. If you’d like to receive the Mother Cabrini Stories directly in your inbox, we are glad to oblige.
Please note the Shrine will never share or distribute your contact information to anyone else.
