Cabrini Immigrant Services of NYC provides free legal consultation on a wide range of immigration issues and social services.

CIS unites families through:

  • Consular processing
  • Naturalization applications

CIS protects the vulnerable via:

  • Applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
  • Referrals for victims of domestic violence and other crimes – U visa/VAWA
  • Access to public benefits like healthcare, food stamps, and other social services
  • Assistance in overcoming barriers to education
  • Replacement of documents

CIS builds leadership and empowers local immigrant communities by:

  • Hosting monthly “Know Your Rights” workshops
  • Networking
  • Civic engagement
